 Caribbean Turkey Soup Recipe

Caribbean Turkey Soup Recipe Ingredients required:
  • 4 cups turkey or chicken stock
  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium fresh onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, cored, seeded, and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
    Coriander leaves for garnish
    Lime wedges for garnish


Time: 30 min
Serves: 4

Caribbean Turkey Soup Recipe Instructions & Tips:

  • Carefully combine all ingredients detailed in the recipe in a large pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer covered until the vegetables are tender, about 20min. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
