 Quick Cream of Turkey Soup Recipe

Quick Cream of Turkey Soup Recipe Ingredients required:
  • 1/2 lb. cooked turkey meat
  • 1 oz. butter
  • 1 small fresh onion, grated
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 1 pint water
  • 1/4 pint cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Serves: 6 - 8

Quick Cream of Turkey Soup Recipe Instructions & Tips:

  • Extract or remove skin from turkey and cut into neat pieces. Melt butter; fry fresh onion and bacon. Add stock cube and water; heat to boiling point and simmer for 10 minutes. Extract or remove bacon and chop finely. Place to one side. Add turkey and bring back to boil. Skim off excess fat; add cream and stir gently. Do not boil. Carefully pour soup into bowls. Shake and Sprinkle with bacon bits and chopped parsley. Serve with French bread.
