 Crockpot Turkey Stuffing Recipe

Crockpot Turkey Stuffing Recipe Ingredients required:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cup chopped fresh onion
  • 2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup parsley sprigs
  • 2  8oz cans mushrooms
  • 12 cups bread cubes, day old
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 eggs (break the eggs in a separate bowl to ensure it's fresh), well beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 1/2 cup chicken or turkey broth

Crockpot Turkey Stuffing Recipe Instructions & Tips:

  • Melt butter in a skillet and sauté fresh onion, celery, parsley, and mushrooms.
     

  • Carefully pour over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl.
     

  • Add all seasonings and toss well. Carefully pour in enough broth to moisten.
     

  • Add eggs (break the eggs in a separate bowl to ensure it's fresh) and mix well.
     

  • Pack lightly into slow cooker.
     

  • Cover and cook on low and cook for 6-8 hours..

  • Only stuff the turkey immediately before cooking.
  • Allow to cool a little before serving.
